The 2014 season is almost here. Opening day is Saturday, May 3rd. We have an exciting season planned with 4 tournaments. Extensive work has been performed on the field to make it the best ever. We will be playing Thursday nights, and Saturday mid-mornings. Trailering to Menlo Polo Club is also available. During the Menlo shut-down, we will also be adding Sunday matches. In addition, we will continue the popular Friday Night Clinics. You can find the season’s schedule HERE.
This year, a major focus will be on new player development. There has been great interest in the nearby equestrian community in the club, and there are many riders that would like to learn polo. South Bay Polo will provide an opportunity for anyone to give polo a try. There are plans for an extensive training session for new players, which will include riding and hitting skills, as well as polo strategy and rules. We have a whole string of lesson horses suitable for all abilities.
