On August 19th, South Bay Polo hosted Bay View Pony Club for an introduction to Polo. Pony Clubs develops character, leadership, confidence and a sense of community in youth through a program that teaches the care of horses and ponies, riding and mounted sports. In the past, Polo has not been a big activity with Pony Clubs across the United States. But that is changing thanks to many Polo and Pony Club supporters. Many introductory clinics, such as the one at South Bay Polo, are being organized to give these kids a taste of “The Sport of Kings”. They represent the next generation of Polo Players.
